The Grey Muzzle Organization Invests in SpokAnimal’s Hearts and Paws Program

July 25, 2023 – SpokAnimal has received an $11,000 grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization to help more senior dogs get adopted through the shelter’s Hearts and Paws program. (more)

SpokAnimal Secures Petfinder Foundation’s Dogs Playing for Life® Grant

April 25, 2023 – SpokAnimal secured a Dogs Playing For Life® tuition grant from the Petfinder Foundation, which has provided the foundational knowledge necessary for the shelter to launch the canine enrichment program at its play yard. (more)

Feb 8, 2023 – The City of Spokane and SpokAnimal are collaborating as a result of the City securing part of a $130,000 in grant funding awarded through Mars Petcare’s Better Cities for Pets program. (more)

Senior Dogs at SpokAnimal Fetch Grant

Spokane, Washington–Old dogs have something to wag about this summer, as The Grey Muzzle Organization announces the recipients of its annual grants, and dogs at SpokAnimal are among the winners.

SpokAnimal is one of 77 animal welfare groups chosen from 266 applicants to receive a grant to help local senior dogs. The winning groups received more than $616,000 in grants to help save or improve the lives of at-risk old dogs in their communities… (more)

Newly Named Petco Love Invests in Livesaving Work of SpokAnimal

Spokane, WA (April 21, 2021) – SpokAnimal announced today a $35,000 grant investment from the newly named, Petco Love, to support their lifesaving work for animals in Spokane.

Petco Love is a nonprofit leading change for pets nationally by harnessing the power of love to make communities and pet families closer, stronger, and healthier. Since their founding in 1999 as the Petco Foundation, they’ve empowered organizations with nearly $300 million invested to date in adoption and other lifesaving efforts.
