SERVICES
We know that creating a pet-friendly community requires a host of hands-on programs for pets – and their people. That is why SpokAnimal provides a number of programs and services to support our community of animal lovers.
SPOKANIMAL’S PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

Veterinary Clinic
The Dorothy Clark Animal Center is available for reduced income pet owners. It provides low-cost spay and neuter services; low-cost vaccinations, microchipping, and other special programs.
Farm Livin’ Barn Cat Program
SpokAnimal works in cooperation with area farmers who need barn cats for rodent control at no cast. The new owners agree to provide them with a barn or farm building for shelter and food to supplement what they catch.

Lucky to Be Alive
Funded by your donations, this program provides sick and/or injured animals with emergency veterinary care, surgery, specialists, rehab, and a variety of other life-saving care that the shelter and veterinary clinic is not able to provide. The Lucky to Be Alive program gives animals a second chance.
Guardian Angel Program
Each year, hundreds of beloved pets in Spokane County are left homeless when their human companions die or become incapacitated. The Guardian Angel Program helps pet owners to make provisions for their animal companions in the event of the owner’s death or severe illness.

Cruisin’ Critter Transport
The Cruisin’ Critters Transport Program has covered tens of thousands of miles, and has helped save thousands of animals that were out of time, and out of chances.
Pet Food Bank
SpokAnimal’s Pet Food Bank provides pet parents with enough food to keep bellies full for at least a month. Please call or come see us if you need a bit of help!
This program is possible due to food donated from our community- please drop off donations any time!

SpokAnimal’s Dog Park at High Bridge
SpokAnimal provides open access to an 11-plus acre park is next to High Bridge Park (across from the disk golf course) near the corner of “A” Street and Riverside Ave. It is free for all to use.
Home to Home
Be sure to check out our Home to Home site, where pets can find new families without ever seeing the inside of a shelter. This service is free to use for both pet owners and adopters, and gives animals that need a new home the best of both worlds: their owners can find the best fit, and their adopter can learn all about their personality and preferences from the people that know them best!
